What is the difference between Hot Desk, Co-Share Desk, and Private Flex Office?

All three offer hourly drop-in and monthly plans. The difference is the space: Hot Desk is open seating (Scarborough only). Co-Share Desk is semi-private within a closed room. Private Flex Office is your own private room with a door. Use the chooser at the top — by usage frequency and privacy need.

How does drop-in pricing work for Co-Share Desk and Private Flex Office?

Three ways to reserve: hourly (under 8 hours, 2-hour minimum), full day (one business day at a flat rate), or a monthly Capacity plan (CSD Capacity 32, PFO Capacity 32, PFO Capacity 80) for a lower per-day equivalent, month-to-month with no term. One-off consecutive days pay the day rate per day.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription plan?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at the next billing cycle with 30 days’ written notice. Hot Desk Monthly to Co-Share Desk and Co-Share Desk to Private Flex Office conversions follow the same pattern. Plan-level changes within a product (Capacity 32 to Open Unlimited, for example) also work this way. Pro-rated billing applies.

Can I use the address as my business address?

Not with Hot Desk, Co-Share Desk, or Private Flex Office alone. To use a CollabHive address for business registration, banking, or regulator filings, add Hive HoneyComb. HoneyComb plus a workspace plan also unlocks Beacon Service-Area Business and Beacon Storefront eligibility for regulated practices.

What if I have a confidential call during my workday?

Solo Pod is included complimentary during any active reservation — for short confidential calls. Drop in, take the call, return to your desk or office. Solo Pods are first-come basis. For scheduled call volume or longer client conversations, reserve The Nest or The Hive meeting room on Hive Credits.

Can my clients meet me at my desk or in my Private Flex Office?

A Private Flex Office handles 1:1 client meetings well — closed door, acoustic privacy, your own room. Co-Share Desk is semi-private, better suited to solo focus than client meetings. For larger client meetings, reserve The Nest or The Hive meeting room instead of using your desk or office.

Is there parking, printing, and a community manager?

The community manager greets guests at all three sites Monday-Friday. Printing is available at the member rate (per page · charged through your account). Parking varies — Mississauga and Kitchener have on-site lots, Scarborough has visitor parking with first-hour complimentary.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Send 30 days’ written notice to your community manager — month-to-month plans cancel at the next billing cycle with no penalty. No 24-month contracts. No activation fee. If your plan includes locked storage, it’s yours to empty during the notice period. Account data exports on request before the close-out date.
